Hey there! I'm Scott, the kind of person who wonders why the sound of rain is so relaxing, why fiddling with your hair makes you sleepy, and how a simple roll of rice and seaweed became Korea's ultimate comfort food. My brain just doesn't stop asking "why," and honestly, that's probably how I ended up doing what I do.

I started my career writing code. Multimedia servers, stock trading systems, security software — the kind of stuff that has to work perfectly at 3 AM on a Sunday. But after seven years of engineering, I noticed something: the part I loved most wasn't the code itself. It was the moment I watched someone's eyes light up when they realized what the technology could do for them. So I followed that spark and moved into sales.

From engineering roots to strategic sales leadership

That was over 14 years ago. Since then, I've been at Wind River, working with teams that build things most people never see but everyone depends on. Fighter jets, missiles, in-car navigation, flying taxis. My job is to sit between the engineers and the executives, making the complex feel simple and turning "that sounds impossible" into signed contracts.

What keeps me going? The tough stuff. Hand me a mission everyone says is too complicated, and that's when I'm at my best. That process of structuring chaos into clear, solvable steps — whether it's planning the perfect Maldives trip or deciding whether to build a new platform with AI — is what gets me going.
